Created by women for women, artists for artists, Gallarty gallery is free from taboo topics.
Our world is still full of prejudice. We all still live in the ” world of men”, and in the lists of successful and wealthy women are in the absolute minority. Art is not an exception.
Cliches and condemnations caused by national, stereotypical and even legal restrictions are the eternal companions of the total obscurity of women. In many countries the problems of unpunishment and egregiously terrible domestic violence, abuse at work, and stereotypical thinking multiplied by social pressure and encouraged at the state level are still relevant.
The world has already changed, but it seems that not everyone has been able to accept the changes…
We strive for freedom from evaluating a woman’s appearance, her life purpose, and success. We run away from tacit consent and translate it into the forms of painting, sculpture, and performance. Therefore, Gallarty is a place of concentration of women’s art. In Russia and abroad we support and represent interests of artists from Russia, Finland, Great Britain, Poland, France, Turkey, Ukraine, Belarus.
We are united by a common desire to break the ice of rejection of gender, external, mental, racial and cultural differences. We are ready for dialogue and acceptance of artists, projects and organizations that share our views. We regularly hold open calls, online and offline exhibitions, and informatively support women’s cultural initiatives.
