Johanna-Josefina Alanko is a Finnish visual artist, based in Finland and Poland.
She has graduated 2018 from the School of Fine Arts in Kankaanpää and also studied architecture and design in Universidad Europea in Madrid, Spain 2016.
Alanko is known for her passion for experimenting with textures, such as textiles, metals, ceramics or construction materials, which she uses to give her large scale paintings deeper, multi-dimensional expression.
Her unique way of making art is a medium which she uses to start a conversation about the nature of the human body, feminism and spirituality.
Alanko’s works are part of private and public collections in Finland, Spain and Poland.
